Introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Lilly. First I’d just like to say thank you for checking out my blog.😊 I created this blog as an assignment for computer class. I’ll be blogging about painting, drawing, baking, traveling, daily life, and anything else that seems interesting. Who knew writing a blog would be so hard?! It’s difficult coming up with topics to discuss. Big thanks to my mom for helping me out lol. I’ll start off telling you a little bit about myself. My family and I just went through a big move. We’re selling our house so we’re currently living in a camper. There’s my mom, dad, brother, our kitty Joy, and me! 😋 It can definitely be challenging at times living in such a tiny space. It can be fun too, though. Once our house sells, which it’s currently pending, we’ll embark on  our next big adventure! We’ll be traveling to different parts of the USA to decide where we want to live next! Does that sound exciting or what?! We’ll be staying and looking over different landscapes in different states. We’re hoping to start a farm once we find that perfect spot. I can’t wait to have chickens! 

For my recipe portion of the blog, I made fudge for the first time this past week. It was pretty good for my first attempt. I’ve been scouting out other fudge recipes and I’m looking forward to trying them. Stay tuned for my next recipes, complete with pics, reviews, tips, and tricks! (Psssstt…I have to say it was much easier to make than I thought! Lol!)

On to what’s happening in the Lilly Bug art studio. I’ve had a bit of artist block lately. I usually paint rocks but I decided to try my hand at painting on a canvas. My first attempt in this area was not quite as successful as my first attempt at fudge making! Lol! I’ll have to post pics so you can see what I mean. However, practice makes practically perfect so I’ll make a second attempt at painting on canvas sometime soon. First, I need to brush up on my Bob Ross and then I’ll let you know what happens when the brush meets the canvas.
