Phew, a lot has happened since I last wrote! First things first, we sold our house!!!! Now it’s time for the next chapter of our adventure. We’ve been looking at a ton of land. We looked at this one place that literally had a lake on the property! Seriously, a lake. How cool would that be?? There’s also a place that I really like. It’s got a couple creeks, a river, and it’s right next to a national forest! That’s one thing we want in whatever we buy; good water sources. We really want 100+ acres for our farm. I’m so excited to start farming! I know it’ll be a lot of work, but it will be great to provide food for ourselves and not rely solely on grocery stores.
After we signed the papers for our house, we went to Tennessee! I love TN, it’s beautiful. We stayed at a hotel with an indoor pool! My brother and I definitely took advantage of that the first day we were there. While in TN, we went on a few mountain coasters, which is a roller coaster on a mountain (hence the name, lol!). You get to control your own speed! We’ve been on the mountain coasters before, but this time we got to do one at night. It was pretty cool because the whole thing is in lights and you can’t see where you are going, which makes it even more exciting! The only problem was that it was SO COLD. My fingers were numb by the time we were finished.
We went to this super good donut place in Pigeon Forge called The Donut Friar. They had a lot of different donuts but my favorite was this chocolate one with white frosting in the middle. It was so good. I think I got about three of those! They were cute because they all had different pictures on top made with frosting. Some had smiley faces, others had hearts, and there were also bear paws. I think I got one of each.
We went go karting and I am now obsessed. They were so much fun! My dad liked being able to let his inner race car driver out and he actually ran right into me and made me spin all the way around! Good times, good times. I won the first race, and my brother won the last one. We drove two different courses. The first one you just kept looping around and around, and the second one was more like a regular race track. We all preferred the regular track so we did that one twice and the loopy one one time. There were a lot of other people on the normal track. On the normal track we were the only people, so we had the whole track to ourselves!
We visited this restaurant in TN a couple of times called Holston’s. It was so good! I just wanted to eat there every day😂 They had the best burger.
After we got back from Tennessee, my awesome family threw my brother and I a surprise birthday party! My mom made these really awesome cookies ‘n’ cream cupcakes and we also had a taco shaped piñata full of goodies. My mom and dad got me an instant camera which I have been wanting for a while now, and my dad got my brother and I a carburetor for our four wheeler we’ve been trying to fix. My aunt and uncle got me some more film for my camera, and my other aunt and uncle gave me a Wal-Mart gift card which I used to buy a super cute comforter and quilt set.
I’ve been drawing a lot more since living in the camper. I tried drawing a realistic eye for the first time, and it turned out pretty good! It didn’t look super realistic, but some of my friends gave me some tips on how to make it look better, so I’m excited to try again!
Some more drawings I have done:
That’s all for this one guys. Thanks for reading and see ya next time!
