I finally did it…

Ok guys…I did it. I finally did it. After everyone trying to convince me, I’ve finally watched Lord of the Rings 😂 All three of them. So I decided, what better than to make a review post?!

Ok, the verdict: I actually loved them! I really didn’t think I’d like them, but I really did. I’m not usually into “fantasy” type things, so I’m actually really surprised I liked them 😂 It was interesting, had sad moments, had happy moments, had funny moments. It was really good.

Now for a character review. Please no judgment when I rate these 😂 and comment down below if there are any characters that I missed that y’all would like me to rate!

Legolas Greenleaf: 10/10. Legolas is pretty awesome, I gotta admit. He’s definitely one of my favorite characters. I mean, HE SURFED DOWN STAIRS ON A SHIELD SHOOTING BAD GUYS. I mean…come on. He’s really nice and funny, and I love his and Gimli’s relationship. Quote: “What about [dying] side by side with a friend?”

Aragorn: 10/10. Also one of my favorite characters. Seriously, what’s not to like?! Lol, keeping this one short and sweet apparently 😂 Quote: “If by my life or death I can protect you, I will. You have my sword.”

Frodo Baggins: 6/10. Ok. I had kind of mixed feelings about Frodo. He did have the burden of carrying the ring, but I hated the way he treated poor Sam. Sam was so faithful and does everything for him, and Frodo believed Gollum before he believed Sam. It made me so mad when he tried to send Sam back down the mountain. But, in the end, he did end up doing the right thing. After some contemplation. Quote: “It is useless to meet revenge with revenge: it will heal nothing.”

Samwise Gamgee: 10/10. Y’all, just the way he treats Frodo after everything Frodo puts him through automatically makes him an amazing character. AND WHEN HE GOT IN THERE AND FOUGHT THAT GIANT SPIDER!!!! That was just amazing. And poor guy, why does it seem like he’s always crying 😂 Quote: “There’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for.”

Gollum aka Smeagol: -1000000/10. Just no. He was a horrible little guy. There were moments when you thought he might be ok, but by the third movie I just could not stand him. In my opinion, he was definitely the worst character. Quote: “We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious.”

Gandalf: 2/10. Honestly, he just mostly annoyed me, but he did some good things, therefore I’ll give him a couple of points. Quote: “True courage is about knowing not when to take a life, but when to spare one.”

Eowyn: 6/10. She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’ll stab you in the face. LOL, my friend Emily had sent this meme a while back, and obviously I didn’t understand it since I hadn’t watch LOTR yet, but now that I watched it, it totally cracks me up 😂 Now the reason I’m only giving her a 6 is because it really made me mad that she seemed to be trying to steal Aragorn from Arwen for most of the movie 😂 GIRL HE IS TAKEN. But, anyway lol, she was a pretty courageous character toward the ends, especially when she stabbed that guy in the face. Quote: “Women of this country learned long ago: Those without swords can still die upon them.”
